Pneumatic valves use compressed air (air compressor) as the power source and drive the pneumatic actuator through the reversal of the solenoid valve. The pneumatic actuator drives the valve to realize the opening and closing of the valve, control the pressure, flow and flow direction of the air flow, and ensure the pneumatic All kinds of pneumatic components for the normal operation of actuators or mechanisms. The component that controls and regulates compressed air pressure is called a pneumatic pressure control valve.


Ⅰ. Pneumatic Valve Structure Composition

1. Pneumatic actuators: can be divided into single-acting actuators and double-acting actuators.
Double-acting pneumatic actuator (air-opening and air-closing type): two-position control of valve opening and closing. Single-acting pneumatic actuator (spring return type): When the air line is cut off or fails, the valve opens or closes.
2. Valves: Valves are control components in fluid delivery systems.
3. Solenoid valve: divided into single electric control solenoid valve and double electric control solenoid valve. Single solenoid valve: The valve opens or closes when the power is supplied, and the valve closes or opens when the power is off. Double electric control solenoid valve: The valve opens when one coil is energized, and the valve closes when the other coil is energized.
4. Air source treatment triple component: including air pressure reducing valve, filter, and lubricator, which stabilizes, cleans, and lubricates moving parts of the air source.
5. Limit switch: transmits the signal of the valve's switch position over a long distance. There are mechanical, proximity and induction types.
6. Pneumatic positioner: adjusts and controls the medium flow of the valve according to the size of the current signal (standard 4-20mA).
7. Manual operating mechanism: manual operation under abnormal control conditions.
8. Muffler: Installed at the exhaust port of the solenoid valve to reduce noise.
9. Quick-plug connector: One end is connected to the solenoid valve or actuator, and the other end is directly inserted into the air pipe to use.
10. Air compressor: It is a pressure generating device that compresses air.
11. Trachea: hose, copper tube, stainless steel. Commonly used specifications are 6mm and 8mm.

Ⅱ. Pneumatic Valve Classification

Pneumatic valves are divided into two categories according to the control method: switch type and regulating type. One switch has two-position control and the other proportional adjustment.

Pneumatic switch type valve: pneumatic actuator + valve + solenoid valve + limit switch + air source treatment triple piece + manual operating mechanism + muffler + quick connector + air compressor + air pipe (including limit switch, air source treatment triple piece , manual operating mechanism, muffler, and quick-plug connectors can be selected according to the actual situation on site.)
