In pipelines carrying corrosive media, one of the most frequent valve types is the electric plastic butterfly valve. It has excellent corrosion resistance, is lightweight, wear-resistant, and simple to disassemble. It is suitable for liquids, gasses, oils, and other media, and its material is sanitary and non-toxic. It can also be utilized in domains such as general clean water, raw drinking water, sewage, salt water, and ocean. It has a significant need in pipelines across various sectors.

Electric plastic butterfly valves are unsuitable for pipes with high temperatures and pressures. Temperature resistance ranges from -14℃ to 100℃, -40℃ to 120℃, and pressures up to 1.2Mpa, depending on the material. Common valve body materials include PPR, PVDF, PPH, CPVC, and UPVC. The connecting mechanism is often a clamped centerline. All pieces are built using injection molded components. The sealing ring is composed of F4, which is very corrosion-resistant.

Electric plastic butterfly valves are best suited for liquids and gases with generally clean media; nonetheless, the media must not include granular contaminants; otherwise, items would scrape the sealing ring, resulting in leakage! Butterfly valves designed for extremely corrosive media, such as electric fluorine-lined butterfly valves, are also known to work well in hostile process conditions. If the pressure or temperature is high, an electric hard-sealed butterfly valve is appropriate; nevertheless, if the pipeline or environment contains combustible and explosive media, an explosion-proof electric butterfly valve is required!
