PTFE stainless steel hoses have similar functions to stainless steel metal hoses. They have fine appearance, no mechanical impurities, high strength, excellent chemical stability, corrosion resistance, sealing, self-lubricating non-stickiness, electrical insulation and excellent anti-aging ability. It can be used for a long time at -60~250℃, has reliable and excellent corrosion resistance, and is used to transport highly corrosive media at high temperatures.

02 Installation Precautions:
Metal hoses can be compressed or stretched, but if not installed in the correct position, they will break quickly and reduce their service life.
The hose can be installed horizontally, vertically or diagonally. The ideal state is vertical installation. At the same time, installation near the wheels should be avoided. Baffles can be installed if necessary.
Generally, metal hoses can be divided into three types of lengths:
the first is the compression length, which is the length when the hose is compressed to the extreme position;
the second is the installation length, which is when it is at the middle position of half of the maximum displacement. The length of the hose;
the third type is the stretch length, which is the length when the hose is stretched to its maximum limit.
When installing the hose, the hose should be in the middle position, which is the so-called installation length. When installed in this position, the hose can move in two directions when subjected to axial load. Otherwise, if it can only move in one direction, the strength of the metal hose will be affected and its service life will be reduced.
During the actual installation process, considering that using a ruler to measure the length of the hose according to the calculated results before installation may affect production efficiency, some foreign manufacturers install the ruler directly on the hose and cut it off after installation.
1. When choosing a metal hose, for ease of installation, please choose a metal hose with a loose flange at one end.
2. When performing electric welding operations at the construction site, the surface of the metal hose should be protected to prevent welding slag and arc burns on the metal hose.
3. It is strictly forbidden to twist the metal hose during installation.
4. The metal hose should not be bent along the root, and there should be no dead bends.
5. The passing medium must not be corrosive to the bellows material, and the chloride ion content in the medium should be ≤25 PPM.
6. Strictly follow the correct installation method as shown in the installation diagram.
7. It is strictly forbidden to mechanically damage the flange sealing surface.
